On March 28th, our sermon was from Matthew 10:27-31 where Jesus assures us that God knows when a sparrow falls to the ground and cares for us all the more. Following the message, Brian Janssen sang "Sparrow" which was written by Dustin Blumenstein.

New Hope Song

Our church celebrated it's 3rd anniversary on Sunday, October 18, and Dewey's sermon celebrated the new hope and life that we have in Christ: "It's a new day!" Brian Janssen wrote a song to match the theme of our fellowship and performed it after the sermon.

We kicked off our Palm Sunday worship with a new song called If We Don't Praise, by Rick Logan and Lynn Mann. The lyrics refer to part of the Triumphal Entry story in Luke 19:

"I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."

On Palm Sunday we sang three joyful songs of "Hosanna!" to our King. This 10 minute set includes a newer song, Hosanna, by Paul Baloche and Brenton Brown, the classic Hosanna chorus by Carl Tuttle, and finally a revved up version of the hymn Hosanna, Loud Hosanna.

On the morning we heard about "Blessed are the peacemakers" we had an ensemble sing a beautiful song called Instruments of Your Peace by Kirk & Deby Dearman. The ensemble included Lori Kotaich, Ashley DeForrest, Anne Muehleck, Leela Zeeb, Rebecca Bertolini and Brian Janssen (with solos by Lori and Anne). This song is based on a famous prayer by St. Francis of Assisi (1181-1226).
